FBSciences Contracts with Hanfeng for Distribution in China

MEMPHIS, Tennessee (November 10, 2009) – FBSciences, Inc. (FBSciences) has entered into an exclusive supply and distribution agreement with Hanfeng Evergreen Inc. (Hanfeng) (TSX: HF) to sell FBSciences’ proprietary fertilizer technology  as a value-added ingredient to Hanfeng’s products that are distributed for sale in the People’s Republic of China.

In early 2009, Hanfeng tested this new fertilizer technology in field trials in China to prove its efficacy in combination with Hanfeng’s fertilizer products.   Based on the positive results from these field trials, Hanfeng and FBSciences negotiated and signed an exclusive supply and distribution agreement.  Hanfeng will now proceed to develop new value-added fertilizers for distribution and sale in China utilizing FBSciences’ technology.  FBSciences’ fertilizer technology improves the effectiveness and efficiency of fertilizers, and potentially reduces some of the environmental impact associated with the excessive use of conventional fertilizers.

Under the agreement, Hanfeng gains exclusive distribution rights for two years to FBSciences’ proprietary fertilizer technology which enables plants to better withstand environmental stresses and allows for increased crop yield and quality.  Financial terms were not disclosed.
