Peter Stromberg

Peter Stromberg

Co-CEO

Mr. Stromberg served as executive vice president and international market manager for Floratine Products Group, Inc., before selling the company with Mr. Goodwin in September 2007, and forming FBS.  He became a member of the Floratine team in 2001, when he joined as a marketing consultant for the European division. Previously, Mr. Stromberg was an Assistant Professor of International Business in the graduate program at Christian Brothers University in Memphis.  He also has worked extensively throughout the U.S. and Europe as a business consultant and a turf advisor.

Mr. Stromberg holds an International M.B.A. from the University of Memphis.

Bill Zimmer

Bill Zimmer

Vice President of Canadian Business Development

Mr. Zimmer started his career farming, and then worked for 25 years in the agri-business industry in the pesticide and crop nutrition sectors.  Mr. Zimmer has spent most of his career with BASF where he held various sales and management positions.  Mr. Zimmer now covers the Canadian and South American market for FBS.

Mr. Zimmer graduated from Ontario Agriculture College at the University of Guelph, Ontario, Canada, with an associate diploma in Agriculture.

Harold Dou, Ph.D.

Director of SE Asia Business & Senior Research Scientist

Dr. Dou has extensive experience in the development and testing of innovative agrichemical products within the fruits and vegetables industry. He has worked on issues ranging from field applications to postharvest management. Dr. Dou has worked as a R&D Manager at BASF and Glico USA. He was a research specialist with the Florida Department of Citrus, University of Florida and UC Davis. In the last ten years, he has focused in the areas of formulation development and biological testing, leading to the development of emulsified products.
Dr. Dou received B.S. degrees in Agrichemistry and Biology from Northwest Agricultural University in Yangling, China. He earned both an M.S. and Ph.D. in Plant Nutrition/Agronomy from Justus-Liebig University in Giessen, Germany while studying under K. Mengel, who is one of the foremost experts in plant nutrition.

Ian Leonard

Australian Business Manager

Mr. Leonard is managing partner of Superior Agronomic Solutions, FBSciences Australian distribution partner.  Prior to attending college, Mr. Leonard worked in the Outback on a large farming operation. After graduating from college in 1993, he worked as a company agronomist for Clyde Agriculture, a private consultant for agronomist Simon Struss, and as a senior sales agronomist for Queensland Cotton. He also owns his own turf agronomy company, Superior Turf Solutions, which was founded in 2001.

Mr. Leonard has a Bachelors Degree in Business from Sydney University. In addition, he earned a Certificate in Rural Science with an emphasis in crop production by completing a two-year external program offered by the University of New England, Australia.

Mark Goodwin

Regional Sales Manager, Canada

Mr. Goodwin brings his extensive turf management, soil science, soil chemistry and plant nutrition knowledge to FBSciences as a Regional Manager covering the Northeast United States and Eastern Canada. He is responsible for sales, and assists distributors and representatives in the field. Prior to joining FBSciences, Mr. Goodwin was with Floratine Products Group as Regional Technical Manager for Northeastern Canada and the United States.

Mr. Goodwin holds a B.A. in Environmental Management from Saint Mary's University and a certification in Environmental Planning from Dalhousie Technical University.

Ing. Agr., Roberto Peiretti

South American Executive Consultant

As a pioneer and developer of no-till farming methods and agri-business consultant in Argentina for 30 years, Mr. Peiretti is a key figure in international agricultural relationships for Argentina. He is a founding member of the Argentinean No Till Farmers Association (AAPRESID) and a two-term president of the American Confederation of Farmers Organizations for Sustainable Agriculture (CAAPAS). Mr. Peiretti has presented at more than sixty conferences and lectures worldwide, published more than twenty papers, media articles or extension notes related to no-till farming practices, and written a chapter in Globalization and the Rural Environment, Harvard Press, 2001.


Mr. Peiretti earned a degree in Agronomy Engineering from Cordoba National University and was a Visiting Fulbright Scholar at Oklahoma State University, where he received his Master of Science in Agronomy.
